Imagine a world in which there is no sound. A world in which objects, equipments lose their sounds and the familiar noises of vehicles, electrical appliances around us are gone.
Imagine zero-point. Silence. And a human voice.
This voice defines a schizoid space where fantasy merges with reality, where animation and feature films, sounds of radio emerge from subconscious to surprise, challenge and awaken us to grim reality: what we see or hear - whether it is present, past or future, real or screened – becomes part of our personality. There is no silence. No human voice. No escape.

This workshop is organized in close collaboration with Deutsches Kulturzentrum Clausenburg.
Description of the workshop
Moving with fluidity and ease into the floor, surrendering, finding support from the earth, being able to get away and fly into the sky. Taking the invitation to play like the small kids, reaching out and getting what I want. Moving from the core and letting the flow travel all the way out to the fingertips and top of the toes. Allowing the emotions to travel from the inside out. Filling my movement with expression. Listening to myself. Listening to the group and the space, allowing me and the others to create something bigger than me. Letting it to flow through me. Letting it move me and the others like one being.
I would like to divide the workshop into 3 different sections which in the end will be brought together to an improvisational performance.
We will work with different contact improvisation skills like weight sharing in different levels, lifts and getting in and out of contact.
We will work on our personal dance qualities. Where do I get my impulse from for the improvisation? What interests me? Where inside me can I find my creative source? Here I would like to introduce the fluid systems of the body to flow from one state into another in our movement improvisation.
The third section will be to work to widening the awareness from the inner-personal dance experience in and out of contact to the awareness of the space and other dancers. How can I be connected to my inside and perceive the outside? How can I still listen to my insight while I am listening to the group and the space?

vis-à-vis - what is it about?
In a few days our new contemporary dance action starts.
vis-à-vis presents performances from Budapest and Cluj, as if we were <<just across the street>>. In fact we are, taking the big map of contemporary dance in Europe into consideration.
vis-à-vis is an exchange program involving artists around SIN Culture Center (Budapest) and GroundFloor Group (Cluj) who will present during a 5 day event: contemporary dance classes, shows and will take part in discussions and professional exchanges. We aim to know each other’s work better, to collaborate more often in the future and to offer the audience in Cluj a new perspective on what contemporary dance means for different artists. We also aim to transform this pilot event into a festival of exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge in the future.
Ladies and gentleman, please welcome our new born baby,
Help him grow by giving us what is most precious: time for live performing arts in your life.
Kinga Kelemen – director of GroundFloor Group
Tamás Lóky – executive manager of SÍN Culture Center
